This product meets and exceeds all expectations.
It responds fast makes adjustments the second any thing changes.It is very well programed.
So far has been able to find all locations and direct me to them, turn by turn . It has written and verbal comands, so if you are unsure of the verbal comand ,you can look, and in a clear and simple to see and read ,at a glance is the name of the street and a arrow as to which way to turn, and the distance.
It is easy to program and very simple to use ,unlike other electronic devices. I can even see the screen without my reading glasses.I would recomend and I am thinking about buying another one for my wife’s car , It’s that good.

I recently purchased the Garmin nuvi 255W for my daughter. She is in the Air Force and travels frequently. It helps give me a little peace of mind knowing she has it to guide her and find help if necessary on the road. She has been very pleased with the performance and ease of use.
The only complaint I have is that the accessories included with the unit are not listed in the product description. I purchased some that were suggested and my daughter found that they were included. Specifically, a suction cup mount and car charger. She now has two of each and I am out the extra $$.

The Garmin 255W GPS Navigator works great, even better than I’d hoped.
Now, if I could just get it mounted to where it stays put and not keep falling off. The Garmin mounts certainly leave something to be desired!

I upgraded from nuvi 360 which I had since 2006.
I really love the new interface, the turn signs at the corner, speed limit indicator and the fast satellite reception.
I was confused between 255W and 265WT, But I really didn’t need the traffic thing, mp3 player and the bluetooth. So I settled with the 255W.
I told my friend that I’m getting one, told him about the features. And I ended up with ordering 2 of them.
Great product.

For the money and features, this is a great product. The refreshing rate is fast and locks on to the satellites almost instantly. Route recalcuation is better than my Honda built in Nav system which I paid over $2000 as an option in 2006.
I just wish the screen is larger. I had no problem with the clarity of the voice system.
