The device itself is small and can be clipped on to one’s clothes. It contains a motion sensor similar to the ones found in the Nintendo Wii controller. It is capable of sensing motion in three dimensions and converts the data tracked into information about user’s daily activities.

FitBit actually measures the intensity and duration of the physical activities, calories burned, steps taken, distance traveled and monitors your sleep pattern. Test it yourself and lets us know your experience.

When the user passes by a wireless base station the device transmits all the collected data to the website where it is processed. The company plans to release the FitBit to the market sometime after December for a low price of $99.

1 Star My computers didn’t recognize this cable at all
I even bought two of these as iPod cables are my cat’s favorite snack.

Upon connecting them to my a Dell laptop and a Macbook Pro, neither of the cables were recognized. At least I wasted only $8.

The cable they sent is a cheap generic cable that doesn’t work properly. It does not look anything like the image and it is not an Apple product. This product page is utterly misleading and should be modified to correctly describe the product this company is selling (i.e. a non-Apple, third party cable),

5 Stars Does the job
I bought this as a replacement so the old Game Boy could be passed down to a younger sibling. It works perfectly so far and has not damaged the unit. This purchase was well worth the price.

3 Stars It works, but doesn’t fold prongs.
Be aware that the picture is misleading. The picture shows a charger of the original type (from Nintendo), with folding prongs. The unit I received, while it appears to work just fine, is a bit bulkier (and uglier), and the prongs don’t fold down for travelling.

Great sound, light weight, nice long chord and a great price. I could not be happier with these headphones.

4 Stars Concise review
I bought these to use with Skype while traveling on the road so I wanted a headset that would fold up into my carry-on. Even folded up, the unit is rather bulky partly because it is bigger than I expected but also because of the 10ft or so of cable that is excessive in length and unruly when wound up.

Aside from that, the sound and speech quality is very good and the mute and volume switches on the cable are actually useful (I originally bought the unit thinking I would never use them). Color coded connectors (pink/green) for speaker/mic would have been a nice touch.

5 Stars Excellent for conferencing and music
I purchased this headset mainly for use with Skype and TeamSpeak. I tried it for the first time last night and it did not disappoint. The sound quality from the mic was better than I expected when I did a Skype test call. The guys I was chatting with in TeamSpeak said it sounded great.

One pleasant surprise was the audio quality of the headphones. I played some of my music and the bass response was quite acceptable for everyday listening. The headset was truly plug-and-play on my MacBook Pro in both Windows XP Home (using Boot Camp) and Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard.

5 Stars Great Quality for the Price - for any price
Having gone through 2 other headsets, and returning them both because of either poor fit or poor sound quality, I turned to the ever-reliable Amazon products reviews to aid in my search for a quality headset at a great price. I don’t do audio recording or anything like that - my primary uses for the headset are Skype and listening to iTunes. The voice and sound quality are more than adequate for these purposes. In addition, I wear the headset for long periods of time, so comfort is key. The light-weight feel of the headset is great, and the ear pieces cover just enough to drown out excess office noise w/o making me completely unaware of my surroundings. Finally, several reviewers commented on the folding mechanism and size. Yes, they could be more compact once folded, but it does the trick, and they fit just fine in my laptop case. When unfolded, they hold their shape just fine. The only thing that would be of great improvement would be a carrying case. In any case, this is a great purchase for the quality and price.

I am glad that i bought this charger. It works great with my iPod and charges it fast. I like this because I don’t have to plug it into my computer throught the usb cord. It is a cheaper alternative to having to buy the $30 adapter that lets you plug in the usb cord to the adapter. Over all, this is a great product at a low price.

I have recieved this product and used it for two days only and it went off. The light is off and its not charging. Apparently a manufacturer defect.
