FitBit

September 14th, 2008 Power Gadget Reviews No comments

Discovered new fitness gadget to monitor your activities. Have you even thought about improving your sleep quality? Part of FitBit can do is to monitor how long it takes to fall asleep, number of times the user woke up through the night and how long they were actually asleep versus just lying in bed.

The device itself is small and can be clipped on to one’s clothes. It contains a motion sensor similar to the ones found in the Nintendo Wii controller. It is capable of sensing motion in three dimensions and converts the data tracked into information about user’s daily activities.

FitBit actually measures the intensity and duration of the physical activities, calories burned, steps taken, distance traveled and monitors your sleep pattern. Test it yourself and lets us know your experience.

When the user passes by a wireless base station the device transmits all the collected data to the website where it is processed. The company plans to release the FitBit to the market sometime after December for a low price of $99.

Interested in discovering what it can do for you, checkout FitBit website.

Apple Dock Connector to USB 2 0 Cable White

September 12th, 2008 Power Gadget Reviews No comments

Apple Dock Connector to USB 2 0 Cable White

This USB 2.0 cable connects your iPhone or iPod to your computer’s USB port directly or through a Dock for efficient syncing and charging. It can also be connected to the Apple USB Power Adapter for convenient charging from a wall outlet.

User Ratings and Reviews

5 Stars works as advertised
Very good product. Works as asvertised to charge and sync. Even works with the iPhone 3G.

1 Star My computers didn’t recognize this cable at all
I even bought two of these as iPod cables are my cat’s favorite snack.

Upon connecting them to my a Dell laptop and a Macbook Pro, neither of the cables were recognized. At least I wasted only $8.

1 Star Product is not as described.
The cable they sent is a cheap generic cable that doesn’t work properly. It does not look anything like the image and it is not an Apple product. This product page is utterly misleading and should be modified to correctly describe the product this company is selling (i.e. a non-Apple, third party cable),

4 Stars Not the same as pictured
Works great! The product I received isn’t the same product as in the picture. It looks like a knock-off to me, but I don’t really care, as long as it works

5 Stars Grade A IPod Cable!
This Ipod cable is great for a spare or if you lose you original. Great deal too!

User Ratings and Reviews

5 Stars Great Investment
I was very happy with this product because now I have options for charging my device. Great for traveling or when you want to charge your iPod quickly to the syncing process.

5 Stars Great Charger
I am glad that i bought this charger. It works great with my iPod and charges it fast. I like this because I don’t have to plug it into my computer throught the usb cord. It is a cheaper alternative to having to buy the $30 adapter that lets you plug in the usb cord to the adapter. Over all, this is a great product at a low price.

1 Star P O C
don’t do it. I bought it becuase it was cheap. there is a reson it is cheap, it doesn’t work.

Can someone please show me how to rate something a Zero?

1 Star unsatisfactory product
I have recieved this product and used it for two days only and it went off. The light is off and its not charging. Apparently a manufacturer defect.

4 Stars Ipod charger
excellent customer service. The first charger was defective, sellet sent another one as soon as he was informed.

Hdmi to Hdmi Sony Ps3 Plasma LCD Hdtv High Definition Video Cable Gold plated 10 Feet

HDMI Cable – 10ft – 1 x HDMI, 1 x HDMI 10′ HDMI A – HDMI A CABLE (19 PIN) HDMI to HDMI cables are designed for use with hi-def HDTV video signals. Our premium quality cable is perfect for your home theater installations. Description:

User Ratings and Reviews

4 Stars wow
I read the rest of the reviews and figured i would try it. It looks just as good as the expensive ones for a cheaper price.

4 Stars could be better
looks pretty good on my ps3. the picture is not that clear but its still hd and for $7 why not try it

2 Stars Not full HD
Be aware that the highest setting you will get with this cable is 1080i, not 1080p. Also, the description does not state it is HDMI 1.3 compliant. This is all fine if you have a 720p or 1080i set.

5 Stars No difference between this cable & the expensive ones – don’t waste $$ – buy this one.
When I was considering buying these cables to connect my new TV to my cable box and PS3, I was absolutely dumbfounded by the difference in prices. As you can see, this cable is dirt cheap and you almost pay more for the shipping price than you do for the cable. When I went to the electronics store, they had a selection of these cables and none of them went for less than $75.00. I decided to be patient and shop the price as it saved me $130.00. Even the brand-named cables advertised on amazon are no different than this cable. I can’t explain the vast disparity in the prices but am sure glad I checked here first. Buy this one, and save $70.00.

5 Stars Fast delivery
Fast delivery, cheap and picture is fantastic. Don’t waste money with monster cables. There is no difference. I used this to connect my PS3 to my new 1080p samsung and the picture quality is absolutely amazing

Bargaincell Brand New Home Wall Travel Plug in Ac Charger For Apple IPOD Shuffle 2nd and 3rd Generation MP3 Player

Bargaincell Brand New Home Wall Travel Plug in Ac Charger For Apple IPOD Shuffle 2nd and 3rd Generation MP3 Player

User Ratings and Reviews

5 Stars Good Product
Work with my Shuffle 2nd Gen perfectly. It is nice doesn’t have to turn on a computer to charge my IPOD.

5 Stars Nice little charger!
Fits into the IPod shuffle and then plugs into the wall, so you don’t have to use your computer to recharge the shuffle. Convenient for travel, charging anywhere there is an electrical outlet. Reasonable price and shipping. A winner!

5 Stars Simple, but easy to use and works
For battery recharging it is easier than using the computer to recharge the Shuffle. Does the job, does it easily and well. Worth the while.

5 Stars works just fine
This little charger is perfect. OK, it is not pretty – but I don’t wear it as a fashion accessory – it stays in the office to charge the little bugger while I’m doing other things with all 5 USB ports simultaneously. Therefore, I thik it is great.

1 Star Buyer Beware
Be very careful if you buy this. I wanted to be able to charge my Shuffle when I was traveling without a computer and I bought both this and the Bargaincell car charger. I plugged the Shuffle into the wall charger at the hotel after using it for quite a while on the plane. When I went to unplug it, the Shuffle was very hot to the touch and it would no longer work – the sound was low and distorted. I turned the Shuffle on and let the battery run down completely and then recharged it via the Apple-supplied computer charger and it still would not work. I think that the charger fried my Shuffle! :(
