4 Stars Use to own an older version…
I loved my older one but this review is a question for anyone owning this new model… Can you tell me if this model contains the definition of the words??.. Multiple definitions, like my old one did? Not one review talks about that. Please comment…. Thank you

5 Stars Better than more costly
This is the second of these units that I have owned. The first one is riding in a rental suv somewhere. This speller comes through when the more expensive models will not. It is simple and straight forward to use and is small enough to fit where other spellers will not. I know it has other features and they work fine but I use it mainly as a speller.

5 Stars Nifty
Handy little tool. Works well. Pocket size. Recommend and would buy again.

5 Stars Franklin-Webster’s Spelling Corrector Plus
I have had this little gadget for almost 20 years and LOVE it! I use it mainly for crossword puzzles but have played hangman, word builder, word jumble with it. I also put phone numbers in it. It started going blotto on me, about a year ago, so I managed to pry the back off and replace the battery. It’s still going strong. This is a must have if you do a lot of crossword puzzles!!

4 Stars spelling corrector
a good multi-function product. it replaced a franklin spelling corrector i had since 1989.

i don’t like the plastic case. it is very difficult to open. i broke a fingernail trying to open it.

i purchased the new corrector because the characters were more readable than the older model’s characters.

DB Premium iPhone 3G Full LCD Screen Protector 3 Pack

DB Premium iPhone 3G Full LCD Screen Protector 3 Pack

This premium quality non-oem iPhone 3G Screen Protector, protects against scratches to your iPhone 3G screen, Great for people who are always on the go!

User Ratings and Reviews

2 Stars Good at first, but can get gunky over time
I liked the idea of a screen protector since I constantly carry my iPhone with me and didn’t want it to get scratched. That said, the screen protector became so gross overtime that I HAD to peel it off. What do I mean by gross? The edges of the sticker seemed to attract makeup, dust and other gunk making the phone look VERY unsanitary. Even when I tried putting my phone in a separate clean pocket, it still picked things up whenever I put it up to my face to talk. If you’re purely using the headphones or a bluetooth device this may be less of an issue for you. However, as someone who wears make up and was constantly picking it up this was a big issue for me. It especially had a tendency to collect around the button and was virtually impossible to clean off.

Now that I have removed the protector this is no longer a problem. I find that it doesn’t seem to attract makeup anymore and even when it does I can easily clean it off with a gentle cloth. I also haven’t had any issues with scratches and dents, despite regular use, making the think the screen is durable enough on its own.

The bottom line is that I would recommend this if you are putting it up to your cheek to talk and wear makeup because it can get gross pretty fast and is hard to clean.

5 Stars Great protector
I’ve had a few different clear protectors for my iPhone 3G and this is tied with the best of them. I had no problem getting it on straight and it actually is more scratch-resistant than some I’ve had in the past. I keep my phone in my pocket, sometimes with other things, so the screen tends to take some damage. I’ve had this cover on for a month or two and it doesn’t have a single scratch yet! The only drawback: it comes in a three-pack. The way this one is holding up, my phone will wear out before I need the other 2!

1 Star Put your money back in the couch
These are, by far, the worst screen protectors I’ve ever used. All 3 were used in 1 day because they just do not stick to the screen. I applied all of them per the included directions and they all peeled away. Put your money back in the couch, its a better investment.

1 Star Screen begins to peel off after a week of use
This is definitely not a good product. Why do you think they send you a 3-pack? Within a week the edges, especially around the home button, will begin to peel and dirt will get under the screen protector. Afterwards, air bubbles will start to form and then your iPhone will look awful.

I would not recommend this screen protector. Also, very wasteful packaging for each protector. You get a clear plastic bag with a paper insert. Inside the paper insert you get another clear plastic bag with the screen protector. You also get a piece of cloth that is inside another clear plastic bag. Every time you put on a new screen protector you throw away 3 plastic bags, a paper insert, 2 sheets of plastic that protect the protector and a piece of cloth. That’s all a bit unnecessary for one thin piece of plastic.

4 Stars Nice Product, Great Deal. Well Worth a Try
I think these are great. You pay a penny and less then three bucks for shipping to get three screen protectors that are even supposed to be reusable (although, I doubt you can really wash and reuse them). I’ve gone through at least three different brands of protectors and these rank just behind the one that came with a Marware case I bought. Similar to the Marware one, these are a little thicker than some others I’ve had and nice a glossy. If you get it on without bubbles you can’t even tell it is there. Speaking of bubbles, you just have to be careful. The protector doesn’t make bubbles the person applying the protector allows bubbles if you aren’t careful. I actually think the thickness of these helps you put it on easier without bubbles. The top sheet that needs to be pulled off once applied is nice so that you can run your scrapper card (You do have one of those, right. If not, no wonder you are getting bubbles. Try using a credit card at least) against it pretty aggressively to prevent and remove any bubbles. As far as packaging, mine were in english and chinese.

1 Star PIECE OF JUNK
I am a Palm Pilot user from WAY back when they first came out. I have used them at work and play and have, until now, had no mechanical issues with any of the four different ones I have used (Palm I, Palm III, Palm IIIc,and M515). The ONLY reason I purchased a Tungsten E2 is because I spilled water on my M515 and it died (ya think). The touch screen on the Tungsten E2 I received has yet to work properly. I touch it in one spot, the pointer clicks somewhere else and you have to be very alert to find it sometimes. Based on others reviews, I have not tried to have it fixed because I have little, if any, patience with faulty mechanical devices.

I am currently trying to find something to replace the E2 because it has fallen into the black hole in my bedroom where all things lost go to hide. The only reason I have for “needing” a PDA is for the games. I am retired and I like having specific mind tickling games to entertain myself with and to make sure that what brain cells I have left are still semi-working.

1 Star Absolute piece of junk
Warning, this is a compete waste of money! First off, if your Palm has a problem after the warranty, there is zero customer service. You will be relegated to the forums where other pathetic owners trade ideas on how to fix this electronic piece of junk. Your sync conduits will get screwed up and you’ll get messages saying your “note pad” is the wrong program (of course it’s a Palm program but it and your Palm desktop won’t speak the same language anymore). You’ll go to the palm support website where you will search for answers using the search function but the site doesn’t go anywhere unless you start at Google, and your search results in a Palm support page addressing your problem. There Palm will offer you “support” downloads like the “PIMS update”. Well I just downloaded it and now my Tungsten E2 just keeps trying to turn itself on. Forums will advise you to perform a “hard reset” which isn’t working. These items are a nightmare.

2 Stars Rats! Not as useful as earlier Tungsten E
The Tungsten E 2 I bought to replace my nearly-shot Tungsten E, is a real disappointment. The PC software for it no longer shows color codes for categories in the calendar function. I.E. Without entering the “edit” function for an entry in the calendar, I (you) cannot tell what [Estate of John Doe], [Church volunteering], [Car Repairs], if any, category you have assigned to an entry.

Sync software was/is buggy, and the search function within the calendar on the PDA doesn’t show dates(!) – only the first few words of the entries.

I’m bummed! This is my fourth, and probably last Palm product. Up until now I was a happy camper with their gear. Too bad.

5 Stars Extremely satisfied
All suppliers should function like this one. Product arrived on time, in perfect condition, fully supported by vendor, full follow up. I’d buy anything this vendor sells.

Bruce W. Marcus

5 Stars Healthy Assist
The Palm E2 is used mostly with a program to help diabetics. The program used helps calculate the carbs that will be consumed which helps the diabetic calculate how much insulin is needed to cover what is going to be eaten. This program has been used for several years with much success. It is wonderful because the Palm is easy to carry in a pocket. Thanks!
