5 Stars Top-notch cable
I bought this 9 foot long cable for my new Canon PowerShot SD970IS Digital Camera and I am very pleased with it. It is plenty long so you won’t have to worry about having to stand too close to the TV while using it. The connectors are very rugged, and the large end that hooks up to the HD TV has a very sturdy plug with a nice grooved grip to make it easy to plug and unplug.
5 Stars Excellent Quality
This cable works very nicly with videos captured by my 5D MarkII.
If you are going anyway to HD quality, It might as well to go with the original
3 Stars BEWARE!!! Only buy genuine CANON cable–others do not work!
I’m on my third mini-HDMI to HDMI cable. I use it to connect my Canon Vixia HF 10 to HD plasma TV.
The first was a cheaper cable not advertised as Canon–didn’t work.
The second WAS advertised as Canon, but did not come in Canon packaging and is not marked Canon and–doesn’t work. $60 wasted there.
Third time’s a charm. I ordered #3 directly from B&H and it arrived in Canon packaging AND IT WORKS!!
Don’t waste your time or money on one of these cables unless you are absolutely sure it’s going to be a genuine Canon item.
5 Stars Canon HTC-cable
The canon cable made a tremendous difference in the quality of the video when showing my home videos directly from my Canon HG10 vdeo camera to my high def television. The reolution on the video is as crisp and clear and colorful as anything that is shown from the studio in high definition. The cable was $10 cheaper buying it from Amazon rather than Canon direct. If you are looking for excellent quality videos from you Canon video camera, it is worth the cost.
1 Star Overpriced Cable
I was looking for this cable for my camcorder, but it is way overpriced. I got it from monoprice instead for a fraction.
