3 Stars Does not fit Zumo 550.
The Zumo 500 and Zumo 550 look almost identical, but they have different connectors. The Zumo 500 uses an 18-pin flat plug (which this product has), but the Zumo 550 uses a USB mini-B style plug. I couldn’t use it since it didn’t fit, so I can’t comment on its performance.

5 Stars Garmin 760 power cord
My dog chewed up my Garmin power cord for my Nuvi 760 while I was at school, so I bought this one. It arrived in a couple of days and works perfectly.

1 Star It TOOK 7 days to be “ready to be shipped” by AMAZON
Not worth the trouble. The item was “in stock” but took 7 days for amazon to ship the item. No help from costumer service. Plus, another 8 days with good old free shipping to get it. So don’t buy it unless you can wait 15 days or more to get it.

5 Stars A Great Replacement
I purchased a Garmin Nuvi and have been using it for several months. One problem I encountered is that the end of the 12V (cigarette lighter) adapter came unscrewed and the parts inside fell out–a spring, fuse, etc. The second time this happened I couldn’t find all of the parts so the cable was useless! I purchased this cable as a replacement and it seems to fit and work perfectly with the Garmin.

3 Stars Nice while it lasted
Worked well for 4 months. Just came back from Louisiana. It worked well in Cajun country even though MSN direct said I would have a lapse of coverage.

The cheapest gas prices worked well even though the gasoline company was usually incorrect.

The tip that that goes into the car lighter was left behind when I pulled it out of my rental car for the night. It lasted longer than my Garmin GPS.

So this my second one.

i thought i would have normal street traffic but i didnt

anyway its useful for its other functions.

Got the MSN Receiver about a mouth ago, wow dose it work great. the traffic reports are so good tells all that is going on in 60miles around you. also the movie times are good,only thing is gas prices are not right a lot of the time. thank it’s best in town not sure about all the U.S.

5 Stars Never be lost……
I have had this on my Garmin for months and I even tried to get lost. It just will not let me get lost……..I just wish that all motorists were aware of what this device does. Everytime I read about people getting lost in the mountains and actually losing lives just because they don’t know where they are.

Don’t be one of those. I wish I could buy everyone a garmin with all of the extras which are just pennies a day. These are really life saving devices and if you are in a bit city, make it small with a Garmin.

4 Stars Coby FM iPod transmitter
works very well so far…better than my cassette adapter. Like every FM transmitter, it runs into interference from time to time. But set at a low FM frequency (like 87.9) the interference seems to be minimal (except in large metro areas where there are “pirate” radio stations and maybe near the Mexico border.) Wish it recharged my iPod during travel but I’m still happy with it.

5 Stars Works better than the the more expensive unit I own
Awhile back I bought an FM transmitter for my i Pod. That unit was over twice the price and does have a charging dock and it holds the i Pod securely in place but just doesn’t perform all that well. Where as the Coby holds a station and works with great with my Zune and more importantly my 16GB Walkman NWZ-S739 very well.

As others have mentioned I’ve had no problems with it dropping a station or picking up white noise or any other interference the way the other unit does. Then the fact it works with pretty much any MP3 player really makes the Coby CA-745 wireless transmitter a great buy.

So over all if you want an easy inexpensive way to play your MP3 player through your cars FM receiver, save some money and give this unit a shot, I bet you be glad you did.

5 Stars Easy to Use, Works Great
I did a lot of research on wireless transmitters before finally deciding on this one. I had it in my Amazon cart for a while, then my satelite radio went out, and then this became a necessity. Works right out of the box, I just plugged it in an set to 87.9. No static or any other problems. (Only if you put the mp3 player too close to the adapter) The extra adapter is a life saver. I’ve used it to charge my phone or run my GPS system. I also have a separate DC split adapter and can use three products at once (kids dvd player, GPS, and charge my phone). I have a Sansa clip (1G), and it works just fine. I do have to turn the volume up high on the Sansa clip. The the quality of the music at times, is even better than the satelite radio. I’ve had it for 5 months, with no problems.

2 Stars Has short in cable
I bought two of these (one returned) because of a short in the wire. Just touch it and a loud crackling sound, seems to be a manufacturing defect. Other than that it’s a simple unit that does the job.

I’m SO impressed with this product! What a great price for such a great product! I’ve been looking at fm trasmitters for a while now, there are some really expensive ones that do the same thing as this one. This one even has an extra bonus, it opens up and you can plug something else into the cigarette lighter! Would recommend over anything else!

5 Stars Great Inverter for Travel
This is a super inverter for travel. It is compact and light, and will easily power a laptop computer or a cell phone charger. It also has great power protection features to prevent running down your car battery.

5 Stars Better than Expected
I bought this little gem a few weeks ago. I travel extensively with a travel trailer, and when my partner is driving, I like to be on my 17″ MacBook Pro. I allowed my battery to drain to 50%, then plugged into the Duracell 175. Initially, the inverter kept cycling on and off. I strung my MackBook cable over the sun visor so the inverter was hanging in front of the air conditioner vent. It stopped cycling on and off, and it completely recharged my battery while using the MacBook. The following day, I put a few strips of Velcro on the back of the inverter, careful to not cover the cooling vent, a few of the opposite velcro strips on the side of an air conditioner vent and wa-la. This little unit has no problem keeping up with using the MacBook Pro, and charging the battery at the same time. I’m totally delighted with this unit, and you can’t beat the price.

Small and portable, runs netbook class computers just fine. I’d be afraid to use this on a huge whiz-bang gaming laptop, but it is perfect for smaller laptops.

Nicely finished, and it hides under my seat, with only the cig. lighter plug showing.

The added USB charging/power port is a brilliant addition!

I personally don’t like the inverters that are an all-in-one package, where the electronics are on the back of the cig. lighter plug. Just looks tacky.

There is a fan on the bottom of the inverter, and make sure the top and bottom of it (inverter) isn’t blocked, for proper cooling.

Highly recommended, for its intended use.

4 Stars quiet & effective
So far this product works well although it seems to take longer to charge than I would have expected. It is compact and quiet but charges on the go.

1 Star Did Not Work with Laptop
I purchased this product to use in the car with a laptop and cell phone via the USB. It worked well using the USB to power the cell phone but when I plugged in the laptop, the red fault light came on and it would not charge the laptop. I recommend finding out how much power (or Watts) your laptop needs before buying this product.
