This item is definitively worth the money you pay for it. Although it’s not top-of-the-line, the sound quality is good and the wireless speakers are very convenient. I would recommend this system to anyone who is not a hi-fi maniac, but still likes a good surround system.

We have been extremely pleased with our home theater system. The surround sound adds a completely new dimension to our movie experience. From the rear speakers to the subwoofer and main speakers everything works better than expected.Panasonic has done a great job.

This Panasonic DVD home theater system is great. The sound is clear and beautiful. It was easy to install, as an addition to my HD Panasonic Television. The system arrived fast.

1 Star Feel Ripped Off!!!
WOW!!! I don’t know how to begin this review without saying how disappointed and ripped off I feel. First I would like to let all potential buyers know that this is a good looking system on the picture and in person except in person the subwoofer is one unfinished side that doesn’t allow you to turn it facing the room (super weird). Two days into receiving and setting up the equipment the DVD player displays a message “Chngr Err”, take note I’ve only played one DVD to set the system up and to try it out. It was only after I had this problem I went back to read more of the negative comments to discover others had the same exact problem I’m having (interesting). The seller claims the items are not re-furbished and are truly brand new. I think they are being dishonest and it’s going to come back and bite them. I’m just saddened by the co$t of this product, yet it’s so not the quality of product it should be. Let’s not talk about the DVD trays that are stacked instead of the usual carousal tray. The sound is O.K. and excellent for my apartment space as I don’t want to blow my neighbors out of the window.

I contacted the seller and still haven’t heard anything back to what I should do. I’m probably just going to send this system back, get a refund and spend the extra money on the Bose system which I know is excellent quality.

1 Star Disappointed customer
I bought this unit last Dec. when I purchased my wonderful Panasonic Plasma. However, I’m am not at all impressed with the Panasonic home theater system. The unit doesn’t have enough power to push the rear surround speakers – even when adjusted all the way up. You also can’t adjust power of front surround speakers, only the balance. The rear surround speakers aren’t completely remote. They have to be wired to the rear remote sensor, and the wire isn’t long enough to place the speakers well. Front speakers also not remote. The Remote control isn’t at all user friendly for the normal or inexperienced user. If you’re a/v savvy, it’s ok. This is my bedroom unit. I wouldn’t recommend this product for ANY room. This review is form an old granny complaining of not enough power. I can only imagine how a younger consumer would feel about it.

5 Stars Older Products may have battery problems
We tried to get a replacement Palm Pilot (PalmOne Zaire 31) thru the internet. The unit arrived, but the battery would not take a charge. We had to return the unit, finally.

If you too have a faithfull, but older battery powered unit, simply trying to buy a replacement may be a chore. Before you put your money down make sure you have a manner available to exchange or return your purchase. Amazon’s PayPal or strong hand is needed.

Its hell to get old. Even us. (I found a battery shop locally and they put in a replacement battery – it had to be hard soldered in place. )

5 Stars Excellent basic PDA
I owned a Palm Zire 31 for five years, and found it wonderfully reliable. The Zire 31 was easy to use to keep my calendar and notes. The sync feature was easy to use. As long as I used the auto-off feature, this PDA would hold a charge for several days at a time.

5 Stars Palm Zire 31 keeps me on track
Got one of these about a year ago after missing a few back-to-back meetings in the midst of 2 big projects and continuing production support. Up until then I’d always disparaged PDAs and other “executive toys”, but something had to be done. A refurbished Zire 31 fit the bill perfectly. Now, no matter where I am, I get alerted when something’s coming up and can also do long range planning while taking a healthy walk at lunchtime. Those walks are also less boring now that I can listen to downloaded podcasts or music using the mp3 player feature of the Zire 31. I haven’t had any crashes or other technical problems with my unit, and the refurb came from the vendor in near mint condition.

4 Stars Work Horse; dependable and inexpensive
I purchased the Zire 31 when it first came out years ago. I don’t need a phone or internet access on a handheld; just date book, notes, calendar, expenses that sort of thing. The Zire does all this well. My first one failed a few months ago – the lower half of the touch screen would not respond and no amount of recalibrating made a difference. Hot sync worked fine so when I found a store that had a replacement I bought it. It cam right away – good company to deal with! Not sure where I’ll go from here when this one fails, but I’ll cross that bridge when I get there.
