4 Stars Use to own an older version…
I loved my older one but this review is a question for anyone owning this new model… Can you tell me if this model contains the definition of the words??.. Multiple definitions, like my old one did? Not one review talks about that. Please comment…. Thank you

5 Stars Better than more costly
This is the second of these units that I have owned. The first one is riding in a rental suv somewhere. This speller comes through when the more expensive models will not. It is simple and straight forward to use and is small enough to fit where other spellers will not. I know it has other features and they work fine but I use it mainly as a speller.

5 Stars Franklin-Webster’s Spelling Corrector Plus
I have had this little gadget for almost 20 years and LOVE it! I use it mainly for crossword puzzles but have played hangman, word builder, word jumble with it. I also put phone numbers in it. It started going blotto on me, about a year ago, so I managed to pry the back off and replace the battery. It’s still going strong. This is a must have if you do a lot of crossword puzzles!!

a good multi-function product. it replaced a franklin spelling corrector i had since 1989.

i don’t like the plastic case. it is very difficult to open. i broke a fingernail trying to open it.

i purchased the new corrector because the characters were more readable than the older model’s characters.

2 Stars Get an Apple TV
The dock is functional, but you don’t get video or pictures on our HD TV, you don’t get coverflow, you just get scroll-through songs. Get an Apple TV, ours is far away from the wireless router, works like a charm. Movies, photos, songs, coverflow, images with songs. It’s the way to go

The product works well with my Denon 4308IC. Worth every penny. I can go through large volumes of music and search in no time! Wish there was an HDMI connection

3 Stars Oh so slow
I hooked up the dock to my new AVR-2309CI receiver. Easy installation, great sound but it is SO SLOW when navigating artists, songs, etc. For example if I want to go from Back in Black (AC/DC) to Thug (ZZ Top) it takes forever. I’ve found that I forget what I’m looking for before I get there. Too bad it doesn’t have a search feature or faster browse function.

Maybe it has something to do with the fact that my iPod is a 3G, 80GB model with over 600 CDs on it?

5 Stars Great gadget for the home theater system
The Denon ASD-11R is a great little gadget for the I-pod when you want to link it up to other Denon equipment (like the AVR-888).

It took a little time to figure out the remote on the receiver, but through this docking station I now am able to control my Ipod on my media rooms suround system.

Though the price might be a little steep for some, I would say it is still worth the money.

The device came with all cables and connections where made within minute.

5 Stars Excellent dock
Excellent docking station. I hooked it up to a Denon 1909 and have had no problems. All the song info comes up on the TV and I scroll through and make selections via the TV display. The sound quality is comparable to my CD player (inputs via RCA). The graphic display is rudimentary but that is a function of the receiver not the dock.

5 Stars Works flawlessly as directed in all Nikon documentation!
Even thought the specs don’t list my camera on it’s support, I gambled and got it anyway for my D50. It works exactly like its predecessor and is built for the Nikon DSLRs. For the money, it’s a no brainer. There are more expensive, after-market/3rd Party products available that do a little bit more, but they’re huge compared to this itty-bitty thing that will essentially achieve the same result if you know what you are doing.

i received the remote in a small little envelope. I was surprised… i thought there was something to download. There was a plastic tab to pull that separated the battery from the remote. Don’t know the strength of the battery, but it works when you hold it towards the sensor of your camera. Now to hold your hand so it doesn’t look like you are pressing a remote. Yeah… that was the first shot, lol

I ordered mine. It arrived. Didn’t work. Figured the problem was the included battery. (Who knows how long the thing had been sitting in a warehouse)

Bought new battery. Item works.

This product is great for those who want to get into astrophotography. I’ve been using it since the first day, and it’s greatly helped me with my photography work. Totally worth the bucks.

I just got this little remote control for my D-60 and I must say, it does exactly as it is supposed to do. For $15 you now can take pictures of yourself. Everybody who owns a D-series Nikon needs to get this!

3 Stars Camera Mount for Flip
Tried this out yesterday on a mountain bike ride. It keeps the camera secure, which is good. It was hard to make sure that the mount was on the crown of my helmet, but some of that is due to my helmet (Giro Pneumo). Most of my video was of the ground about 10 feet in front of my bike. I think that I have it adjusted better now but I won’t get a chance to try it out until next weekend. The quality of the video the camera gives is well worth the effort to get the mount to work. Even going in and out of the shade in the woods the picture was great (just didn’t have it framed right).

Mounting the mount on the helmet is kind of annoying because you have to twist the velcro straps to get them to engage and hold right, it took me a while to figure this out.

1 Star Sucks
This product is really poorly designed. The velcro straps broke almost immediately when I tried to tighten them enough that the mount would not rotate. Also, the layout of the straps makes little sense because it has to cross directly over the bolt that must be inserted into the flip camera. Overall, this product is a piece of crap and I am returning it asap. Duct tape would have worked better.

Finally, don’t bother trying to mount it to a bicycle. If you are mountain biking, the resulting video will just cause a seizure. Rather, mount it to your helmet and duck whenever you go under a tree!

Defenetly the product/gadget I will spent the most time with the next year. Simple and ease of use is key words to make instant videos. Size is unvaluable, have it with me all the time.

it’s a bit difficult to configure onto objects. but a great application for your flip once used.

2 Stars Flip Video Mount
This unit sort of serves its design purpose. The crossover velcro straps are confusing and hard to get a tight mounting with. The Flip Ultra that I use it with mounts vertically, about 4″ above the mount so there is a lot of leverage to move the mount if the camera top is hit. I ended up drilling and screwing it down to get a solid mount to my ATV. It is cheap but there are better mounts out there.

1 Star It fell apart!
I love the other product that I received from Amazon but this item fell apart within the first five minutes that I had it and I could not get it back together. Although I only paid 1 cent for it and the shipping cost was where I really paid anything I was a little upset. I still use it because I cannot find another head set to fit my Motorola razor except the expensive blue tooth. I also do not like the way it fits in my ear. It is very uncomfortable. Thanks and have a great day!

1 Star Useless product… Beware…
I got two of these headsets for use with my Moto Razr phone. One of them did not work. The other one messed us my phone functionality – the screen used to go beserk when I connected the headset to the phone.

3 Stars close…but no cigar!
This fit my Verizon V3M Razr, fit on my person comfortably while driving and would be a great gadget if it were not for the HUGE ear bud. I have large earcanals and this earbud does not even come close to fitting in it. Rediculous!

Most reputable earbud companies (V-Moda, Bose and Shure) have different size earbuds for each individual. I am disappointed in this product…

The hands free headset is a good buy for the price. However the earbud is not real comfortable in the ear. But it works and I don’t have to worry about charging it like the bluetooth.
