5 Stars Very pleased
This battery is amazing. A must have item. It is fit into my HG10 nicely. Just slightly bigger than the piece of craps battery that came with the canon HG10. This battery should have come with the HG10. Every time I used the HG10 for 15-20 minutes and the battery still shown full power. The original battery would have shown 1/2 power or need to be recharge.

4 Stars Not the extended use battery for HV30
Good battery to replace the one that comes with the HV30, but this is not the extended use battery.

5 Stars Works great
Purchased this for our video camera over a year ago. It really helps ensure that we won’t run out of power for an event.

5 Stars Great battery!!
Had to buy to replace the one we bought over four years ago. We got hundreds and hundreds of hours of recording on our camcorder with this battery. I know we’ll get long life out of it. There is long usage between charges. You definately get your money’s worth.

5 Stars Works great for me
I took two of these batteries with me on a recent trip to China – I always recharged them overnight and didn’t have any situations during the day while site-seeing where I ran out of battery juice. I used them in a Canon HV30 video camera and they have more than enough juice for me to watch my 1 hour HD tapes on the plane flight back. :)

5 Stars works great
I don’t understand why anyone would want to pay ten times more for a canon battery when this battery does just the same job for so much cheaper!

5 Stars As good as original product
This battery lasts just as long as the original product battery and charges very quickly. With this price there is no real excuse to run out of juice while on a long trip or while using as a camcorder.

5 Stars canon battery replacement
The vendor was excellent to work with. It turned out I had ordered the wrong battery and it was very easy, even weeks later, to work with them to return what I purchased for the correct item with minimal shipping costs.

5 Stars Good as the original
Works just as good as the original Canon battery, holds the charge just as long and gives you as many pictures.

1 Star Battery wasn’t charged and won’t charge!
This battery would not turn the camera on, so I charged it in the charger that came with the camera and it still won’t turn the camera on. I would return it but I don’t have the original packaging. Don’t buy one!

1 Star Low Capacity
The battery I purchased does not hold very much charge. It lasts about 25% of the time for the “Canon” brand battery. It could be that I got unlucky, but I suspect that it just is a cheaply made battery with bad manufacturing tolerances.

ps: I do analysis of energy efficiency for consumer goods for a living, and have thought a lot about batteries.

1 Star Be aware of the “Best Value”
Lenmar DLC4L Lithium-ion Digital Camera/Camcorder Battery Equivalent to the Canon NB-4L Battery.

I ordered this battery so that I would always have a spare one.

Always beware of the “best value” (buy together today). It is not always the best value. I was charged $34.99 for the battery and $10.95 for shipping for a total of $45.94. Then I found the same battery, available for $19.95 with free shipping for prime customers. Definitely learned a big lesson with this purchase.

5 Stars Great replacement battery!
I purchased this battery as a spare for my SD1100IS, and have taken it on a dive vacation using the camera and an underwater housing for scuba diving pics. Underwater photography involves heavy use of the LCD monitor and flash while underwater. The battery easily lasted through each two-tank dive outing plus some picture reviews on the boat, charged right up afterwards, and was ready to go for the next outing.

1 Star Lenmar DLC4L Lithium-ion Digital Camera/Camcorder Battery
I wanted to replace my several-year old Canon battery that is having a short life. Upon receiving the Lenmar battery I charged it completely and alas, it only lasted 20 pictures in my camera. I discharged it completely and did a complete charge again. It still dies quickly, even worse than my old OEM Canon battery.

I understand that I may have just gotten a bad battery and I will order another one. If it works as well as OEM Canon batteries, then I’ll write another review with 4 or 5 stars to balance out my 1-star review here.

5 Stars Long live Batteries
I’ve been using an earlier set of Sanyo Eneloop batteries for over one year. I am very satisfied with the claims made for this set of batteries. I put them originally in an old Olympus 3030Z digital camera that I seldom use. Excellent results: after 6 months I happened to loan the camera to one of my grandchildren. It worked as expected.

Highly recommended.

5 Stars Beyond my Expectations
This charger and battries are great. They batteries hold their charge much longer than other batteries, I have two digital cameras and only use they once or twice a month and they are fully charged. The only down side is is it take about 4-6 hours to charge them. I just charge them over night. They do not weigh as much as alkaline batteries.

5 Stars Unbelievable!
I recently tried 2 Enloop AAs in a Kodak z712is camera. The camera has been almost unusable because it is a battery monster – nothing I’ve tried except the very expensive throw-away CRV3s (the recommended battery size) lasts more than about 15 shots. I’ve tried a few no-name CRV3 rechargeables with no luck. At this point, it was give up on the camera or give in and pay Kodak for their overpriced charger and rechargeable CRV3, which reportedly works well but costs over 1/3 the price of the camera.

The camera will also take AAs, so I tried a few kinds including other NiMh rechargeables. The camera wouldn’t even recognize most. I got maybe 5 shots out of some. Finally I tried the Enloops. Absolutely incredible! I haven’t worn out the first pair I put in, after intentionally taking over 120 flash shots as rapidly as the camera will allow. The low battery indicator came on awhile ago, but they just keep on going. My camera is saved!

I’ve got some of the Radio Shack imitations of the Enloops which I tried as well. They seem to hold up, but the cycle time between shots is a lot longer than the Enloops.

I’d give these batteries 10 stars if I could. It’s a great example of “value” vs. “cheap.” They cost a little more, but are way ahead of anything against which they compete.

3 Stars This item may be a counterfeit product.
When I received this product from BlueProton, a seller of Amazon, I saw a discrepency on the battery and its package. The printing on the battery says 800mAh, and the printing on the package says 2000mAh. The quality looks a little bit low (print is a little bit blur). I used to buy Eneloop batteries from Costco, and I never seen this kind of discrepency.

So, yes, it is cheapest you can get, but I doubt it is really the genuine Sanyo Eneloop. Time will tell the truth. Buy at your own risk.

5 Stars Best rechargable batteries on earth
Eneloop rechargable batteries are the only ones I know of that will maintain their charge on the shelf for a year or more. Most previous rechargables always seem to be dead when you need them. You always have to stop what you are doing and wait for a set to recharge before continuing.

This product finally makes “going green” with batteries a sensable alternative.

The one and only problem I have with this product is the availability. One often has to search high and low to find a retailer that sells them.

You can always find them on the internet, but often “shipping and handling” costs make an already premium priced product less attractive.
