These speakers are my 3rd attempt at finding something I’m happy with. For the price, I would recommend these. They’re not perfect, but I am happy with them. They are weatherproof and have decent sound quality and decent volume. They have a/c adapters and they take 12 C batteries and this can get expensive I suppose. I like the auto-off and auto-on feature. I’m not happy with the remote; it doesn’t always turn the speaker on after they’ve been off for a period of time. I also wish it had a “mute” button. Anyway, good value.

This speaker system works. Set up was easy. The sound is good. I added a third speaker to the two that come with the system, and it worked without issues. I have not tried the speakers out on battery, nor have I tested the waterproofness of them. Recommended.

If you have your own or separate woofer, then these add ons work excellently as portable speakers.

I have music playlists from Napster on my computer that I want to listen to in other rooms but running speaker wires would be impossible. These wireless speakers solve the problem very nicely.

I connected the transmitter to the computer, plugged the speakers into an AC outlet and turned on the music. Real easy. I’m no audiophile but I like what I’m hearing.

The only problem I’m finding is that the transmitter doesn’t pick up all audio signals. Napster and various online am/fm stations play fine but I can’t get signals from others such as AOL Radio or Pandora.

Still, a thumbs up from me

4 Stars 5 bucks! Anything is worth trying for 5 bucks!
The sound becomes slightly garbled at the higher volumes particularly with Electronica and Metal the low decibel’s all mesh into one. NIN, Zero 7 , and certain Dream Theater songs were hard to listen to because the whole unit would just vibrate when trying to reproduce the lows. Still not bad for 1.5″ speakers.

This is exactly what I was looking for! I needed a small ipod speaker system for my VERY crowded work area. This fit the bill perfectly. The sound is decent especially at low volumes. Being a work environment I just needed to hear it and jamming out was not a requirement. That said these do get pretty loud.

I do not place my ipod in the holder. I leave it on the table so I can plug in my CTA Digital IP-TBC Rapid Travel Charger ($8.00 on amazon) into it so my pod has constant juice.

I have had no problems with the batteries in this unit as mentioned in other reviews.

Hey, It was just under 5 bucks. Is this worth 5 bucks? HECK YA! It beats listening to commercial’s all day

1 Star Product Does Not Work
I am a 10 year old who has been saving up for a long time to purchase an ipod and accessories. I purchased this product after I saw that this got “good” reviews. I came home from a week of summer camp, and my mom said it had come. I ran up to my room to try it out, I turned it on, plugged in my ipod and played a song. It wouldn’t play and sounded broken. I’m going to return it and get a better one(how hard would that be?).

I couldn’t believe how well these speakers worked for the price. I thought it had to be a scam, but the sound is great, they fold up neatly, and the volume gets pretty loud. Absolutely a great buy for anyone looking for a pair of portable speakers for the beach, the park, or any outdoor use.

I just received my speakers in the mail. I am pleasantly surprised by the sound quality. After all of the negative reviews I was a little leary to purchase these, but I figured for the cost I should just try it out. I have used it so far for about 5 hours in a row and the batteries dont seem low at all. It does come with a USB cord that you can power through a computer. It also has a connection for a 6V so if you wanted to purchase a charger you could. The only thing is, my ipod has to sit upside down because my earphone connection is on the bottom of my ipod, but it actually works out well as I pick up the ipod to change the song anyway. Perfect for what I need and perfect for the cost!
