5 Stars plenty of power
This is just what I’d hoped. It charges my BlackBerry, iPhone, and Bluetooth headset all at once from only one outlet. I’m going to buy another one for travel.

5 Stars Great for travel
Fortunately, mobile devices are finally converging on the USB 5v power standard. Now, if only the world could agree on an electrical outlet standard. This well-made unit addresses both sides of the power adapter challenge. Don’t think you’ll ever need four USB power ports? At first that’s what I thought, too. Now I am already traveling with THREE.

The Lenmar adapter was a godsend on a recent trip overseas. It worked like a charm.

One word of warning: When traveling, one often needs to charge everything overnight. Make sure you bring enough USB cables so all your gadgets can charge at once. The four USB ports are useless without cables.

5 Stars Excellent for Ipod touch 2nd gen AND Zen Vision M
I love this adapter. Definitely buy this over any other charger. Works well with the IPOD touch 2nd gen with no problems. You can use the ipod while charging with no issues. I also have an old Zen vision M player that I had bought a USB charger for long ago and I no longer need that accessory now because this charger works just as well. I’m tempted to find every USB chargeable thing in my apt to see if this is compatible (ie the PS3 controller).

I would definitely recommend this item. The price is more reasonable than Apple’s adapters. It does the same thing and it has the add on bonus of several outlet options for traveling. I haven’t used them yet but I bet it’ll be handy this summer when I’m abroad!

4 Stars Works great
I bought this device to make a charging station for all my battery powered devices. It’s the only product I could find that charges more than two USB devices simultaneously, and it works perfectly for this purpose. My only complaint is that, for what it is, I find it fantastically expensive. Single port USB chargers can be had for $2 or $3 on eBay. Why should a four port USB charger cost almost 10X as much as a single port charger? I would have happily paid $10; paying over $20 made me pause a long time.

I have a few usb powered electronics, like skype phone and archos404. It is not convenient to always charge them with computer usb ports. So I ordered this and now I could get upto four small things charged at the same time. Sweet this travel adapter has a few international plug adapters so you could travel the world no worrying about the short of power. Highly recommend it!

3 Stars Good… But…
Great, compact and easy to use… However, be aware that the disk is partitioned and I could not do a complete computer back-up because the partions have a limit of 20 G. Also, unlike Western Digital “book” sized disk, there is no back-up program on the disk. You’ll have to use the back-up program that comes with your OS or buy one. I simply use Windows Explorer and drag my main folders to the disk which is easy and fairly fast. I’m personally going to format the disk. Even with the mentioned short-comings I think, for the price, it’s a lot of back-up storage in a very compact package that can go anywhere with you.

1 Star WORST PRODUCT AND EXPERIENCE EVER
I tried to rate this with no stars, but apparently that’s not possible. The first Passport I ordered was defective (kept disconnecting and reconnecting on it’s own), and then the replacement they sent me was also defective–but in a slightly different way (would crash whenever I tried to transfer music–even as little as 612MB! Great!). Dealing with Western Digital has been a huge headache and waste of time. Not only are their outsourced customer service representatives incompetent (or at least “helpless” by their own admission), they are also rude to boot! I think Amazon should stop carrying their products. The shotty quality of the Passport and the scammy way in which they dealt with the situation (one man told me they “don’t accept returns”) makes me think they can’t make anything worthwhile.

4 Stars Mostly OK
Device works fine with two laptops, but has a problem on the PC–a Dell XPS420 w/ RAID 1 and Vista SP2. It will not Safely Remove, claiming some program is still running it. Disconnect it anyway, and then when reconnected it will not appear in Windows Explorer but will appear in Device Manager. Must Restart to see it again. Must be system-specific.

The mount for my Nuvi broke and I wanted the exact replacement. This is the exact OEM replacement. Note that the 12 volt adapter does not receive traffic information, which is ok for me since I just wanted to have the extra power adapter just in case.

I called Garmin for this replacement and they wanted $49.99, the rep at Garmin looked it up on Amazon and found it for much less suggesting I buy it there. It’s just what we needed.

1 Star Suction stopped working
I have had the original suction cup for Nuvi 660 GPS since Oct 2008. The last few trips I would get it to stick on the windshield of my Honda CRV but as I started driving it would fall off. I had a garmin a few years back that would do the same thing. You would think that they would improve the suction as the they improve the technology. I guess not. I am looking for other options for mounting my GPS in my car. I otherwise love my Garmin Nuvi.
