This is a great memory card. I only had a 256 card. So I needed a larger one for my daughter’s first birthday. It worked GREAT!!!! I took so many pictures. It was a great price and I got it very quick.

It may be that all memory cards are alike, but I have always trusted SanDisk and have never lost shots due to corrupted data.

5 Stars Amazon.com Affiliate Let Me Down
The affiliate made a mistake in product delivery and sent the wrong flash chip – a cheaper version than the one I ordered or was pictured. I am sure it was an honest mistake, but I had to rush to Best Buy to buy what I needed as the old chip was almost full. (I do not erase chips, but archive the old ones as ultimate backups.) Of course I paid more than what Amazon.com advertised. However the chip is ideal for my Canon camera, and is what I will want again in about one year.

Affiliates of Amazon.com should be extra careful in shipping as their reputations are more fragile than that of Amazon.com. They were nice enough to not charge me for the card, but now I have a memory card that I cannot use. In several years of ordering books, electronics, etc., this is the first time I have had any problem with products ordered through Amazon.com.

5 Stars This Card Reader is extremely excellent and great value
The SANDISK Micro Mate card reader is the best money you will spend for a SD card reader that also accepts SDHC cards!

It is pure and simple; to steal a album title from Joan Jett; No cords and it goes in one way into the USB port. It is fast, reliable and durable. I like the tiny green LED indicator. I can not recommend this highly enough.

While my old friend, who repairs camcorders; comments to me about the “compression” on SD cards, I have been using them in 2 different types of cameras for a year now and photography being my profession; I would say that they are a solid cards, also reliable and my images quite good.. BUT I DO NOT BUY THE CHEAPEST CARDS. I try to stick with SanDisk or other top manufactures.

I personally question using a DSLR with SD cards.. I choose to buy a Nikon with CF cards with high write / read speeds, and a fire wire reader.

2 Stars plug problem
i bought this a year ago for my handycam, rarely use it and just when i plug it in my computer and tried to pull it out, the USB plug left on my Mac. it seems to be glued to the body. can anyone suggest if it’s OK to glue it back together and have it working properly? thanks!

5 Stars Pleased with card and reader
I purchased this set from Costco for around $35, my reader is black in color but I assume it is the same reader just a different color. So far the card and reader works fine with Windows XP and it downloads the pictures quickly–much quicker than from the camera. I am using a Lumix point and shoot and I have only had both for a few days. As I continue to use the reader and card if I have any more comments, I will update this review.

The scan disc arrived soon after ordered and simplified transferring data from a memory card to the computer. No complaints at all.

5 Stars Works great !
It is really amazing to watch the prices of these cards drop while storage size increases. A few years ago, I spent more for a 128mb SD card! Couple of things, however:

1.This is a SDHC card, it may not work in an older camera.

2.The reader is black rather than white (as shown). If you wish to match a white MacBook, for example, check here:
