5 Stars Mr
An exelent product, it works well with my treo 680. I am replacing the motorola H650 which was not nearly as good and caused my Palm to crash all the time.

1 Star Built To Last A Lifetime…IF YOU ONLY HAVE ONE YEAR TO LIVE!
I bought one of these 2 years ago at my AT&T dealer for about $100.00, within a year it fell apart. Since it was under warranty I returned it for a replacement and now, less then a year later, the battery is now pretty much dead. So guess what? You can’t replace the battery! That’s right, Motorola expects you to completely replace an item that you paid $100.00 for two years before. I called motorola who basically told me I was SOOL and go buy a new one. Motorola won’t be getting anymore money from me, thanks. Motorola built to last a lifetime (if you only have one year to live).

5 Stars Blazing Blue Tooth
I love, love, love my new blue tooth. I get incredible reception and it’s so comfortable I forget I am even wearing it.

5 Stars I Have Two Paired With My Blackberry
First, for anyone who might care, I currently have two different H700’s paired with my Blackberry phone. Only one (but either one) can connect at a time but you can switch during a call with only a momentary interuption that the other party is unlikely to notice.

Next, why I have two. I bought me first one several years ago and connected it to a non Bluetooth cell phone through a separate device. My having limitted reak need for hands free at the time, needing to keep three devices charged, and the marginal performance of the intermediate device all led to the H700 being left in a drawer with no use for a couple of years. Then I got a Motorola cell phone and decided to try my old H700. It worked flawlessly but, because it was old I didn’t treat it with kid gloves. When it wasn’t on my ear, it was in my pants pocket with my car keys. It eventually began to look a little beat up and lost a piece of chrome trim from the boom, so I became concerned that its days might be limmited.

So when I upgraded to my BlackBerry, I tried a couple of newer and more “attractive” headsets to only discover how superior the H700 was. So I ordered a new one from Amazon at a much lower price than I paid for the first one. Now I can carry a spare but have never needed it so far. I will let you know when either headset quits working, but don’t hold your breath.

4 Stars pretty clear reception bluetooth
THis is a pretty clear reception bluetooth, but it seems like sometimes it does not work where there is no volume receiving or dialing a call

3 Stars The pack was not sealed
The pack was not sealed and so there is a possibility it could have been used when you are buying new. It is bulkier but have the advantage of using the cell phone for long time between charging (considering the fact that i felt regular ones have to be charged frequently). The cover fitted the cell phone well.

4 Stars Works good but very bulky
It made my phone bulky but extended the battery life. The original battery would last about an hour. Now this battery lasts most of the day. If I use the internet constantly and all the features plus talk on it; it may die within four to six hours of use.The back plate does not stay on to well. For the price it is very good.

5 Stars Does not diminish the use of phone features
One of the things that I could not find in the description or the reviews was whether or not the new cover had open slots for the speaker and camera, and indeed it does. You can still use the camera while using this cover, and the speaker does NOT get covered. Also, I would like to point out that I have the ATT Tilt and the finish on this cover is more of a flat black matte finish as oppose to the finish that comes on the original battery cover.

The extended battery does make the phone thicker, but makes it easier to use the phone when balancing the phone between your ear and your shoulder when you are not using a bluetooth headset.

Also, I personally like the bulkier feel of the phone with the extended battery. The original ATT Tilt without this battery is semi-bulky already, and the increase in bulkiness is well worth the extended battery life.

5 Stars Good Battery
The battery arrived quickly. I’m very happy with it’s performance. The original lasted less than one day even when it was new. This one still has 40% or more left at the end of day. I use 3G and automatically check many e-mail accounts all the time.

As the product description states, the phone is thicker now, by about 3/16 inch (5 mm) over the battery compartment. Not a problem for me. It’s worth the extra running time.

I’ve only been using the new battery for a few weeks now. Hopefully, it will last longer than the 1 year the original lasted. I’ll let you know.

4 Stars Misleading advertisement
Alright, it does what is says, and it has about 2750 mAh (measured with an MH-C777Plus-II),

But the advertisement said “slim” and no mention was made of the cover. It makes my Tilt 50% thicker!

I was mislead and I bought a useless cradle. This is not correct.

Other sellers indicated correctly that their battery needs a new cover for the Tilt.

In the few days I used it, no signs of fatigue appeared. I hope it will hold this way.

5 Stars Great Player
We have had this player for a little while now, and we are really enjoying it. The picture and sound quality are amazing….with or without the earphones! Also, it is supposed to be able to play DivX….but we haven’t tried that yet….

3 Stars No Remote On/Off
I only have an older portable analog VHS player to compare with, so I gave this a 3. My biggest let down was that the remote has no on-off button, so if you’re not directly with the player, you’ll need to get to it to turn it on or off. Also, I don’t know how to control image size on any of these digital TV’s, so this was no exception. What I get on one TV at home and another, and this one, is dependent on some factor I haven’t figured out yet. I think there should have been legislation to make all images the same size. I do a lot of recording of programs on a DVR. But to be fair, not considering the above, it works fine as a take along when we sleep in our wagon at the local collectibles market.

4 Stars Decent DVD Player
This is my first DVD player that I purchased for entertaining my granddaughter on an airplane ride. I was drawn by the 9″ screen, the 6 hour battery life, and the Sony name. While there are abundant choices, most offer smaller screens and names I don’t recognize. Furthermore, 2 hour battery life seems to be the norm. Nevertheless, I wasn’t overwhelmed by this model.

The screen resolution and quality is good, but not great. (I couldn’t imagine viewing anything on a smaller screen.) Furthermore, I expected better speaker quality from Sony (and this price range.) The 180 degree pivoting screen was deceiving, as it only pivots to one side. Logically, I don’t understand this, as 90 degrees to each side makes more sense. However, the 6 hour battery life seems accurate – although it also requires a 6 hour charge.

Overall, I’d buy it again as it was invaluable for entertaining the granddaughter on the long flight. However, if you aren’t in a hurry, it would pay to wait for the price to drop.

4 Stars Great Equipment
Does what it’s supposed to do. Great picture. Good sound. Cover can be a little difficult to open but not a big problem. Fair price for quality unit.

5 Stars LOVE MOVIES
THIS DVD PLAYER IS THE BEST IN QUALITY, AWESOME PICTURE, GREAT SOUND. I USE IT EVERY WEEKEND.

Toshiba Puts DMFC in a Cell Phone

October 1st, 2008 Power Gadget Reviews No comments
Toshiba continues to tease us with its prototype liquid fuel cell-powered gadgets: last year it was a Gigabeat media player, and at this year’s CEATEC you can check out a direct methanol fuel cell (DMFC) that’s been crammed inside a cell phone, lending it a robust six hours of talk time (compared to the paltry three or four hours of a traditional battery). Toshiba won’t reveal the capacity of the DMFC, but they have said that a 50ml cartridge is good for about 15 refills. No release date yet,
