1 Star Mic doesn’t work
Their communication is pretty good, but there’s no purpose of having good communication if your product is horrible. I didn’t receive my first one because it got lost in the mail, so I emailed and they responded very quickly. When I received the second one, the mic didn’t work and all that could be heard when speaking in it were clicking noises. After contacting them, I received another one very quickly(my third one), and this time the mic didn’t work at all. After this I gave up and didn’t bother to contact them again because I spent more time and effort on this product than what it was actually worth.

1 Star Don’t waste your money
This was billed out as working on the Touch ipod so I can have a mic to use Skype. No way…..don’t waste your money. I bought 2 of these and neither worked. These are cheap, but only the Apple ones work with the Touch. I found out the hard way.

1 Star Does not work for iPod Touch
This mic doesn’t work for an iPod Touch. It’s a waste of money if you ask me. I’m glad I didn’t waste more money on it…

1 Star mic does not work with 2nd generation ipod touch
2nd generation ipod touch does have mic support but it does not recognize the mic on this although it claims support for ipod touch.

3 Stars Not great but they do work
This headset was a great deal but it’s difficult not to think you get what you pay for… friends tell me when I am using this headset with my Apple iPhone that I sound like a robot sometimes with the weird background static noise that it creates.

The earbuds are comfortable but it lacks a clip near the microphone to attach it to your shirt/sweater/jacket/whatever. Reception on my end seems good and I can actually hear people better than when I am just using my iPhone in its case.

These do occasionally get caught on things when I am wearing them arounbd the house because without that clip, they tend to hang down as I am doing things around the house. They get ripped out of my ears and sometimes out of the phone just walking by the corner of the bed or something without paying attention.

Then again, I’m a bit of a clutz so this may not apply to you… Not expensive and they work well from my end although sometimes they affect how I sound at the other end, apparently. Decent, but could be better.

Gadget Lab Podcast #40: Nokia E71, New T-Mobile Sidekick, and the WinePod Wine-maker

In this week's Wired Gadget Lab Podcast, Dylan Tweney, Daniel Dumas, and Jose Fermoso talk about the newest mobile phone to come off the line with big iPhone-killing dreams: The Nokia E71. They find that while it doesn't have a touch screen, it has everything else to make it competitive: GPS, 3G, WiFi, and a seamless OS. They also go over the newest version of the quirky, browse-friendly T-Mobile Sidekick phone, as well as the ridiculously awesome Wake n' Bacon alarm clock. Finally, the

T-Mobile Sidekick, plain and simple

After much speculation on what the latest Sidekick device from T-Mobile will be called, the carrier decided to just name it Sidekick, plain and simple. There won’t be any other code name attached to it, bringing us back to the basics. You will be able to choose to fit one out of two shells that come with each Sidekick purchase - black and metallic green. There will also be a wide range of pre-designed shell patterns and colors for you to pick up at T-Mobile retail stores or online, and I’m
