4 Stars Pretty good value
These speakers are my 3rd attempt at finding something I’m happy with. For the price, I would recommend these. They’re not perfect, but I am happy with them. They are weatherproof and have decent sound quality and decent volume. They have a/c adapters and they take 12 C batteries and this can get expensive I suppose. I like the auto-off and auto-on feature. I’m not happy with the remote; it doesn’t always turn the speaker on after they’ve been off for a period of time. I also wish it had a “mute” button. Anyway, good value.

This speaker system works. Set up was easy. The sound is good. I added a third speaker to the two that come with the system, and it worked without issues. I have not tried the speakers out on battery, nor have I tested the waterproofness of them. Recommended.

If you have your own or separate woofer, then these add ons work excellently as portable speakers.

5 Stars Happy camper
I have music playlists from Napster on my computer that I want to listen to in other rooms but running speaker wires would be impossible. These wireless speakers solve the problem very nicely.

I connected the transmitter to the computer, plugged the speakers into an AC outlet and turned on the music. Real easy. I’m no audiophile but I like what I’m hearing.

The only problem I’m finding is that the transmitter doesn’t pick up all audio signals. Napster and various online am/fm stations play fine but I can’t get signals from others such as AOL Radio or Pandora.

Still, a thumbs up from me

4 Stars No bass!
Work perfectly right out of the box. Easy setup, look good. Wireless worked from the front of the house to the back porch with no prolems. The only exception was that these speakers have absolutely NO, none, zip, BASS to them. High and Mid range were great and if they had a sub-woofer, the sound would have been awesome. But they don’t. I don’t need a deep, thumping bass, but SOME bass would have been nice.

I don’t have much experience with outside speakers as far as bass range goes, but if they are all like this, I guess I won’t be having any outside speakers.

5 Stars Surprises!
When I went “shopping”, I expected to hook something into the speaker connections of my stereo system (so that I could A, B, A+B with the controls). It turns out that the “sender” plugs into the headphone jack instead. HOWEVER, it plugs into the headset jack of lots of different devices, and it’s small. (Unfortunately, no battery packs for this, so it needs AC.)

The sender has a “1/8-inch mini-plug”, and the package includes a 1/4″ headset plug…

This actually makes them far more versatile than I expected! It hooks up to my sound system more easily than by pulling the receiver out of the wall and working with wire terminals. It will also let me hook it into my TV (no need to turn the stereo to TV Input), my computer, my recording turntable, etc.

Currently, I am using one speaker in the kitchen and the other on my desktop PC. (I am attempting to record some old vinyl disks.) With this arrangement, I don’t need to have them turned up to the distortion level to follow the recording process – one speaker is playing nicely in the back room (where the recording is being done), and one is at my elbow. Wonderful for monitoring!

Oh yeah, the sound… For speakers that cost so little, they’re fantastic!

4 Stars needs to be turned off at night if you have them in your bedroom
The sound quality is actually not bad but they do this “Shsssss” sound once w while when the music is off. Because that, i have to turn the one in my bed room off every night. The really bad thing is, that it won’t remember the volume setting, which means i have to reset it every time I turn the speaker on again.

4 Stars Full Sound in a Small Package
The Audio Unlimited Wireless Speakers are a delight. They are compact and have the kind of full sound you would expect from much larger speakers. I wonder if there is some way to use them with a sub-woofer which would give the kind of bass that would really thrill. I prefer to use them both outside and inside plugged into the household current with the transformer provided.

These speakers more or less do the job. The sound quality is OK, if not probably for blasting classical music concerts. If you have most of your music on your laptop, as I do, you can connect it to your laptop and put your speaker wherever you want without cables. One small caveat, this works best in small apartments as they do not seem to be able to cover a lot of ground. Overall good quality…

5 Stars Excellent HTIB System
If you looking for a HTIB this System is great with it’s 1000w sounds comming through-out your room. Have a HDMI connection for the upconversion five disc DVD plaver, just awesome for the price. Exactly what I was looking for with the intergrated I-pod system and rear wireless speakers. Very stylish looking too. Can’t go wrong, trust me.

4 Stars Not bad for the price
Maybe the customer service is bad, but that’s no reason to give 1 or 2 stars. Their policies are always against the customer’s interests.

I really like the sound and the idea of the wired/wireless surround speakers. The DVD player could be better, but it’s not bad. Everything is good, but I haven’t tried it with an ipod yet.

Setting the whole system up wasn’t a problem, because i am somewhat used to it.

My only complaints so far are the unclear manual, not enough info on their website, and the subwoofer… it could be really loud if you live in an apartment, because it has three levels only (1/2/3).

We wanted a simple system with a good reputation and wireless speakers. When we saw this one at our local club warehouse at $299, we had to get it. We needed 2 HDMI cables because we were connecting our TV, a satellite box, a PS3, and the Panasonic DVD player. We were able to get surround sound going except for the PS3. One call to Panasonic and we had an American helping us. My husband could not be happier for the price we paid.

2 Stars contemplating returning PT 956
purchased this unit from costco @[...]., I have a Samsung LN A 46 TV . Hooked the panasonc 956 up to tv using HDMI,No sound thru system while in TV mode. Called Samsung … no help, called panasonic tech said to get opti cable. Bought cable at sears[@[...] better prices elsewhere] Hooked cable up Still no sound. Then called my cable service HTC[Conway SC]OF course no help from them. for a fee they can check for a signal. Still unsure if I need an additional cable box of some sort between the TV and cable coming in. Bunch of headaches

I just purchased a panasonic DMP BD 35 blue ray player and a panasonic SC-PT956 Home theater system to go with my Samsung 52 inch 850 tv,I have read many negative reviews about the sound in the samsung 52 inch 850 tv, mine will arrive on the 9th of Feb. Am I wasting my money on this tv vs another model? Since I ordered it from Sears, I don’t know if they will exchange it for another model.

1 Star A very poorly designed product
I got this to match my recently purchased Samsung LCD and BD units. Thought it would work seamlessly with them but I was very dissapointed. I must have cussed more the day I tried setting this thing up than I have in a long while. I eventually ended up with an acceptable compromise on setup but then poor sound sync via HDMI, sound clipping via optical cable and basically “mushy” acoustics decided the units fate. My wife told me to take it back in the interest of domestic tranquility.

Samsung need to get their act together on sound systems. The LCD and BD I have of theirs are first rate, but I am now considering a Sony speaker bar or waiting until Samsung come out with something that actually works for people instead of ticking them off. Even the latest Samsung speaker bar which I have considered appears to cause unhappiness. Get your act together Samsung.

ORDERED SYSTEM BECAUSE IT WAS WIRELESS. mANUAL SAYS NOTHING ABOUT WIRELESS AND SAMSUNG SAYS IT’S NOT WIRELESS BUT BOTH THEIR SITE AND AMAZON SAYS IT IS.

Excellent, It sounds like sitting in a theater. I did not buy the wireless speakers. But the system is great and has great theater sound.

The AS730ST is great! I bought it for the wireless rear speakers and wasn’t disappointed. The whole system fits well with my Samsung TV and Blu-ray player. It has a lot of automatic features that make it work seamlessly with the player and HDTV. I am totally satisified with it.
